Pre searing daily quest not scaling - Guild Wars Forums

I thought I read that the daily quests in pre scale with lvl. Yet I am lvl 12 and still I get lvl 8 mobs. Am I doing something wrong ?

It scales in bundles. Levels 10-13, 14-16, and 17-20 scale the enemies to set amounts.

You'll notice a difference in foe level when you hit 14

so then it will still take a month or so to take the title

Cause I now get 32 exp per mob - _ - and will be even lower at lvl 13 *sigh

Well, maybe, but remember your experience will increase when the quests jump up a level. Plus, the experience rewards from the quests are more pound-for-pound beneficial at lower levels.

Of course, if you lolligag around like me and only do the quest every couple of days, it could take a while

Well I havent done any quests yet , so basicly if I take your advice, I should do the normal quests ( not dailies ) for the reward exp now instead of at the end ? ( lvl 18 - 19 ) O.o

Well, considering it'll take even longer to gain levels when you reach the top of the next brackets, you might want to wait to do the regular quests until you're about level 16, so you can help yourself reach the 17-20 bracket quicker.

thx, I think I just gonna run char till lvl 14 , then at 17 do what you proposed

anyone knows the total amount of exp you get pre searing ?

According to the LDoA wiki page, the regular quest rewards total about 10k experience.

It's just a matter of preference when you turn them in. It's a long stretch between level 16-17 and the XP from Langmar's quest mobs won't award you much. At level 19, the mobs will award you slightly more experience per kill, but it also requires more total XP to level.
